The Monitored Programs mode, on the other hand, allows you to track the changes made to your system during the installation of a new program. It thoroughly scans the system for related files, folders, and registry entries, ensuring that no remnants are left behind. You can then select the program you want to uninstall and let Total Uninstall take care of the rest. In the Installed Programs mode, Total Uninstall scans your computer and creates a detailed list of all installed applications. The software offers two primary modes of uninstallation: Installed Programs and Monitored Programs. You can also uninstall programs without using the included Add/Remove Programs. The Installed Programs module analyzes an existing installation and creates a log of installation changes. Total Uninstall Portable will save these changes and if you decide to uninstall the program, the changes will revert to their previous state.
It then compares the two snapshots, displays all changes in a graphical tree view, and highlights all added, modified, or deleted registry values and/or files.
